This very rare Macgregor special Niblick is circa 1905. A nice era correct suede grip whippings have been added recently making this a real eye catcher. The only stamping on the head are the traditional j Macgregor oval clover and the word special.
The wood shaft is straight with the traditional stamp see pics and the hostel union is tight. Four whippings where added to the shaft long ago to strengthen a superficial crack, making this a display only club. Very unique and rare club. The small but very heavy head has a inch face.
