Never hit any old hickory shafted club off a driving range mat. This item is an antique vintage right handed hickory shafted wood. People add weight under the sole plate to get heads up modern day play weights.

Fancy white insert held by 8 black dowels with firing pin dot patent date on the sole plate.

The unmarked hickory shaft has a very minor bend and I see no cracks in it. Shipping in the us is calculated for this item and based on a 2 pound box. No markings on the top. It will vary by destination.

The head is in good condition. Made by Spalding. A8 swing weight.

No big dings anywhere and I see cracks. Full brass sole plate.

Black cap on the grip. Please look at the many zoom pictures for a better idea of condition. The patent is for Rigden back weight. This is the way carriers work and unfortunately it has become more expensive recently.

Whipping should be added at the appropriate places to help prevent breakage. Feels like a firm flex. The grip is an old long leather wrap that in fair vintage condition.
