These classic Macgregor persimmon wood were used extensively on tour into the 1990by players such as jack Nicklaus, ray Floyd, Fred couples, and tom Watson, among others. The club is 42 long with a2 swing weight and stiff shaft. Superb club for the putter collector. The club has a nice, high trajectory and would make a great playable club.
During the 1990, this putter sold for 750. The original shaft is straight and playable but has a lot of chrome loss, especially near the club head as well as where the shaft band would be. This is one of the famous Macgregor tommy armour persimmon wood from circa an armour model in beautiful condition, except for the shaft.
