All the more reason to match the 3 and 4 to the 5. Photo nine does. It seem the leather grip adds about 1/4 inch of club length . I can't be certain as to why, but my experience makes me believe someone had done some bit of home refurbishing of it in the past.

3 wood measures 42. Matching serial numbers are a plus. It's worth pointing out the lower part of the face of the 3 wood shows a bit more wear than is typical. Every photo except four and five are arranged I include this note because in photos four and five the clubs are arranged it might cause ball flight trouble.

It's also worth noting that photo nine is also in order of woodacbd218 and perfectly legible. Photos six, seven and eight give a fair look at this and are arranged Woodward ferrules are very good all three club heads have a variety of nicks and dings including on the face inserts. The leather grip on the 5 wood is good.

Didn't do any harm from what I can tell. The set would look better with the other two clubs regrouped to match. The 5 wood shows a two tone blemishing. 5 in length , the 4 wood is 42 even and the 5 wood is 41.

The shafts are scratched, but not damaged, and the better part of the luster is still fair. These Macgregor fairway wood set are nice and in overall fair condition. The set is playable as is and personally becomes very tempting to me but would play better if all face screws are removed, cleaned and reset to flush and if the swing rite grips are replaced as they are near the end. The glare of the face behind wood 4 and in those photos don't accurately represent condition.
